This image was taking whilst on a hike through a dense forest up in Aberdeenshire. The light would occasionally break through the cloud and highlight different areas. For me this lone dead silver birch tree was the perfect subject to stand out from the rest of the dense pine forest. The blue hazy mist in the back drifts through the frame, isolating the tree even more.

Taken on the Canon R with a 70-200 RF lens in December 2021.
